Circular Polarizer

Hi guys,
Short one this time, no movie.
I have recently purchased new toy for the camera (lens actually..) and wanted to share with you about it.

Its a filter that has sort of adjustable ring on it, when rotating it, amazingly it changes colors.
You can read more about it on the net.

I just want to show samples of it.
Below one is the exact picture unedited, NO PHOTOSHOP ( only cropped ), one with, one without.
I think its pretty amazing. Sky never looked better.

Quick and Dirty Lightroom Workflow

It has been a while ( as usually )

Today we'll see a quick way to improve the way your photo looks.
It takes about a minute or less per a photo ones you're on it.
Those who are against post processing will not like this, cause it's "cheating".

This requires shooting in RAW.

Many asked me (Ziv) to add step by step screenshots ( unlike video ) I might start doing so on the next time.

Double Raw Processing(2)

I wish I knew this one a long time ago.
I have posted such in the Past, I think it's so great, i'm re-posting with different pics.

Today we'll learn how to give your photo that edgy look, that something that will make it bit more special.
This technique is used by the top photographer, i.e Joel Grimes the Master.

You can also try that on very dark pictures you thought useless -

Major, but [ don't have the word ] change.

Shooting a full body requires ( usually ) shooting vertically. but now there's not much space left.
So if you have vertical shoots with some space on some side with some kind of common pattern, you can benefit from this video.

הערה לעצמי - תוסיף עוד קצת טקסט ..

חתימה על תמונותיכם?

אבי רביבו התחיל בפייסבוק ויכוח על חתימות שמכם בתמונות, אני מסכים איתו. ( שנינו נגד לחתום..)
אלה ללא מסכימים איתנו - זה בשבילכם.
ואתם, שכן מסכימים ? אולי זה ישכנע אתכם דווקא כן לחתום (ואללה, נראה לי שבמהלך הלמידה שיניתי דעתי..)

מימין חתימה מכוערת שאלמדכם להמירה לחתימה המוטבעת והמוצנעת (לטעמי) משמאל.

אני לא חותם על תמונותי, קטונתי, אבל אם כבר לשים חתימה, אז שלא יהיה כל-כך בולט, ואם כבר לא בולט, נסו להטמיע חתימתכם בתוך התמונה.
Zack, איזה אחד שאני מעריך, משתמש בחתימתו בכל מיני מיקומים מגניבים בתמונה, אז החלטתי ללמוד איך עושים את זה, אז .. הרשו לי לשתף אתכם במה שלמדתי :
